Ty has also served the International Franchise Association over that time and risen within the Membership Committee to the position of Vice Chair since 2022.

Broker
Brady Sheldon is a Tenant Representation Broker at FranReal who specializes in retail real estate. A Michigan native, Brady got his first taste of real estate during the recession by assisting his family flip and rent homes, an experience that sparked his interest in the industry.
Brady pursued a degree in Operations of Supply Chain Management at Ferris State, balancing the course load with his responsibilities as a student-athlete. After graduation, Brady played four years in the National Football League playing on the Raider, Browns, Packers, Bengals, and Jets followed by two years in the Canadian Football League with the Argonauts and the Elks.
While in college, Brady took on door-to-door sales roles, which further fueled his passion for face-to-face engagement and customer-focused problem-solving.
After his career in the NFL, Brady moved to New York City to start his commercial real estate career, primarily focusing on landlord representation. This role gave him a deeper understanding of property strategy, investor priorities, and market dynamics. Today, as a national Tenant Representative, Brady partners with brands expanding across the country—providing comprehensive market analysis, site selection guidance, and lease negotiation strategies that help retailers, from emerging ventures to established franchises, pinpoint the right markets and secure locations for both immediate and long-term success. He is also a member of the International Franchise Association and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
Outside of his professional life, Brady enjoys working out, spending time outdoors, and exploring new restaurants.

Jocelyn McCarthy is a dedicated commercial real estate broker specializing in franchise real estate. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Arizona State University, she chose to embark on a different career path when she was offered an opportunity in the dynamic field of commercial real estate. Jocelyn furthered her passion by attending real estate school and obtaining her license.
